Upcoming Summer Events and Football Draft Outcome

After a very eventful draft, we have seen some of the top prospects of college football land on national teams. It is important to see how these players play in this upcoming season. On top of the new season of football there are multiple sports events taking place over the summer.

Many football fans watched this year’s draft as some of the top prospects of college football were drafted one by one to play in the pro scene of football. Some prospects such as Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, Kyle Pitts etc were drafted in the first round of this year’s draft.  Out of all the 32 teams that participated in this year’s draft, the viewers like to grade each team’s drafting/trading ability by giving these teams grades on how well they did. Some notable grades given out by these viewers include The Chicago Bears getting the best rank of A and The Saints getting the worst grade of all the team. Chicago gets the best rank for their trade up to get Justin Fields a star College QB while Saints seem to draft no one of importance using their first round pick to draft a defensive end. It is important to note that these ranks don’t mean anything if the players they draft do not help the team at all.

These players picked by the draft have a very important role on these teams as they have been trusted by the teams that have drafted them to play their best and benefit their team for their better. It is also important to talk about the idea that many of these players may underperform if they were drafted in the first few rounds and players may overperform for their draft class. Most of the best and well known players of football were not drafted in the first few rounds but were rather picked in the last few rounds of the draft.

There are many exciting upcoming sports events that will take place during the summer. Some of these sports events include the Indy 500, The NCAA Lacrosse Championship, Women’s College World Series, and the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The Indy 500 will take place May 30 while the NCAA Lacrosse Championship will take place from May 29-31. The Women’s CWS will take place from June 3-9 and the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships will take place June 9.These events are very important to the College sports, and with the Outdoor Track and Field Championships might even showcase some upcoming talents that could compete as Olympic Athletes.

This summer there will be some very exciting events for a lot of college sports. Not only will these events be exciting. The upcoming football season will also be fun to watch as we see these rookies attempt to play in the big leagues for their first time.
