On February 12, 2018, Chloe Kim became an American snowboarding sensation at the early age of 17. Kim, being half the age of some of her teammates, is not letting her age stop her at any cost. She is redefining boundaries and setting records while most kids her age are just trying to finish high school. Last night, she became a snowboarding legend by scoring a nearly perfect score of 98.25 out of 100. Her score of 98.25 was achieved on her second run and the only other snowboarder to achieve a score that high is legendary Shaun White. Kim also has a unique scenario of being able to represent not only American but also Korea. As she says “There was a lot of pressure, but I am happy I was able to do it here and do it for the fans and the family all around the world”.
