Lauren Kellerman has no idea what she wants to do with her future. As a junior at Lakes Community High School, she’s described herself as, “pretty indecisive”. When it comes to school, Kellerman enjoys chemistry labs but isn’t too fond of much else, including reading. But while she’s not the biggest educational fanatic, Kellerman considerably enjoys life outside of school.

“I’d say I view the world in a pretty positive light,” Kellerman explains. She pauses to take a moment to elaborate, then says simply, “There are good things.” Her idea of a good time involves making plans with her friends, taking a relaxing nap, listening to her favorite artist Tyler the Creator, or spending time with her fabulously “chaotic family”. Kellerman also appreciates her fantastic style and a nice bowl of macaroni and cheese with pepper.

Kellerman attended Palombi Middle School before coming to Lakes. But she hopes to move outside of the state of Illinois, and even the country of America, and visit every country in the world. “If I could live anywhere else in the world, I’d want to live in Europe,” Kellerman describes.

So despite not knowing exactly what she wants to pursue in her future, Lauren Kellerman is perfectly content with the present.
