How to get Through the Stay-at-Home Order

To slow the spread of the novel coronavirus, almost all of the states across our nation are under a stay-at-home order. Most people understand that this is for the best and will be over shortly, but for some, this has or may take a toll on their mental and physical health. It is important to remember to take care of yourself so here is a list of ways to get through the stay-at-home order.

 

  • Do not get wrapped up in the news or social media. In 2020, we have tons of information at our fingertips. For worrisome people, that is not always a good thing. Try to keep yourself from looking at social media and news outlets all day.
  • Get caught up on your work. Before you were ordered to stay at home, you may not have had enough time to get all of your work done. There is no excuse to miss deadlines now. Take advantage of all the extra time.
  • Remember to be kind. Everyone handles a crisis differently. Although we are all going through this together, we are not all feeling the same way. Remember to be kind to your family and friends in person or over social media.

 

We will all get through this as a community, state, nation, and world. Stay healthy.
