Movie Review: The Greatest Showman

*SPOILER ALERT*

Based off a true story, The Greatest Showman is the best family friendly movie to warm your heart during these cold winter months.

The Greatest Showman stars many amazing actors and actresses, such as Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, and Zendaya, so I knew it wouldn’t disappoint.

Starting the movie as the tailors boy, we get a glimpse into the struggling childhood of P.T. Barnum, played by Hugh Jackman, and learn the story behind when he met the love of his life, Charity Barnum, while on work with his father. Charity and P.T.’s relationship was frowned upon, as they were both from different social classes, but that doesn’t stop the two from falling in love and building a life together.

Because P.T. was born into poverty, and his father died when he was so young, he struggled to build the life he wanted to give his wife, but with Charity and his two daughters by his side, P.T. build the life he deserves

P.T. and Charity aren’t the only love story in the movie though, while P.T. Barnum was busy recruiting “rare humans” for his world famous circus, Phillip Carlyle (Zac Efron), P.T.’s business partner, and Anne Wheeler (Zendaya), a trapeze artist, are busy rewriting the stars, because their relationship wasn’t socially acceptable for the time period.

The  Greatest Showman teaches you that no matter what cards you are dealt, with determination and hard work, you can achieve anything you dream.
