The Best Local Areas For Fall Favorite Activities

Fall is a beautiful season. The leaves are changing colors, and the weather is getting colder. It’s a time for pumpkin picking, corn mazes, and haunted houses. There are many places where you can do these entertaining pastimes, but here are, in my opinion, the best.

Stade’s Farm and Market located in McHenry has all different types of pumpkins perfect for carving. For the best pumpkin picking, you can go on a hayride to the patch and choose between all the variety of pumpkins Stade’s has to offer. Not only does this farm offer pumpkins, but it also has many other exciting activities like small rides and games.

In Spring Grove, Richardson’s Adventure Farm claims to have the world’s largest corn maze. Every year, the maze always has a different theme and this year it’s celebrating 60 years of James Bond. The corn maze also has multiple scavenger hunt games inside that will really put your navigation skills to the test. Just try not to get lost!
Six Flags Great America located in Illinois is known for its rides and roller coasters, but during the fall the park gets spooky with its annual Fright Fest. At night, clowns, demons, and all sorts of monsters will interact with you and try to scare you. In addition, Six Flags has six haunted houses: 13th Order, Big Top Terror, Bloodshed, Condemned, Gates of Hell, and Manslaughter Manor, each with a different thrilling theme.

Hopefully, you decide to visit one of these fun filled places this fall.
