As the global pandemic advances, the school work must continue. On Friday, March 13th, the students of Lakes Community High School were sent home early, due to an unrelated issue, and later received an email in regards to school closure. The students have now been introduced to ‘eLearning’, which began on Wednesday, March 18th, and will continue on regularly scheduled school days until Monday, April 6th.

The eLearning days have been implemented to keep the students on track with attended school days. Assignments are posted on Google Classrooms and sent through email. It is understandably a tough time for students around the world, but continuing the learning process will be beneficial and ensure that school does not go into the summer.

In order to slow the spread of the virus, it is important to only leave your home for essential reasons and continue sanitizing.
