Who’s Going To Super Bowl LIV?

On Sunday, the NFL finalized the two teams that will be moving on to the Super Bowl. In the AFC, the Tennessee Titans took on the Kansas City Chiefs, and in the NFC, the Green Bay Packers went out to San Francisco to play the 49ers.

The AFC Championship game was an intense game – both teams were performing at a high level. Derrick Henry and the Titans came into the game beating the #1 Baltimore Ravens, and the New England Patriots the week before. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs were in this position last year, but lost the game to the Patriots. Mahomes wants to prove his worth and make it past the conference championship and move onto his first Super Bowl.

Early in the game, the Titans came to play, and got up to a 10-0 start and would end the first half with 17. But in the second quarter, Patrick Mahomes started showing why he’s such a good quarterback. He started throwing big passes that landed in the hands of his receivers and avoided being sacked often. He even scored his own touchdown at the end of the first half with less than a minute left. That gave them the lead and the encouragement to continue to keep it throughout the rest of the game. Mahomes and the Chiefs didn’t repeat history like last year, and moved onto the Super Bowl, the final score being 35-24.

In the NFC game, Aaron Rodgers was determined to hold the ‘49ers and moved onto the Super Bowl. Rodgers was looking for his second ring, and would not give up until the game was over. Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers were looking for redemption after not making the playoffs since the Super Bowl in 2013. Garoppolo already gave them a playoff run, and wanted to make it even further than the 2013 team. Right off the bat, San Francisco showed who they were and what they wanted to do. They were going to the Super Bowl, and they were not going to let the Packers take them down. The 49ers got 27 points before the Packers could get any. Green Bay’s first points didn’t come until the 3rd quarter, and they would only finish the game with 20; the final turned out to be 37-20 ’49ers.

Super Bowl LIV will be held on Sunday, February 2nd, 2020, with the San Francisco 49ers facing the Kansas City Chiefs. The 54th Super Bowl will be played in Miami at the Hard Rock Stadium at 5:30 pm CST. Demi Lovato will be singing the national anthem, with Shakira and Jennifer Lopez being the Halftime performances.

This will be a good game to watch, and the football world will not want to miss this game.
