Sophomore, Dakota Becker is headed down state this weekend of February 16, 2018 to compete in the IHSA wrestling State tournament in Champaign, Illinois. Becker is a sophomore here at Lakes. It goes unsaid that going to state is a huge accomplishment but going as an underclassmen is on another level. Becker won regional and placed fourth at sectionals to earn him that spot down state. Currently his record is 25-10. Becker has worked all of this past off season and this entire season on working towards one goal, making it down to Champaign and that is just what he did.
