Be An Eagle Week Preview

Next week, as everyone knows, is Be An Eagle week and Turnabout Spirit Week which means there are plenty of fun activities coming soon.

The first is coming this Friday during lunch hours where for two Talon Tickets you have the opportunity to purchase ice cream sundaes! There will also be karaoke available in the cafeteria for free!

Starting on Tuesday of next week there will be even more exciting opportunities. The theme for Tuesday is Silent Movie Day! Everyone should wear black and white and get excited for the Cotton Candy and Blow Up Obstacle Course available during lunch hours. Cotton candy costs two Talon Tickets.

On Wednesday, dress like your favorite celebrity in school appropriate clothing and enjoy slushies during lunch. There will also be some trivia available so get your game face on for Wednesday.

Wednesday night is the Second Annual NHS Dodgeball Tournament where the National Honor Society will be raising money for the Special Olympics. You’ll get 5 Be An Eagle points on the 5 Star Student app, and if you want to participate, just sign up with Ms. Gusler in the math team room for $5 per person.

On Thursday you can channel your inner cowboy because it’s Western Day! During lunch you can purchase Walking Tacos during your lunch and participate in country line dancing and take pictures in a photo booth.

On Friday represent your class by wearing your class color. Freshman should be wearing white, sophomores wear gold, juniors wear red, and seniors wear black. Hot chocolate will be served for two Talon Tickets before school and during lunch there will be human foosball!

Saturday will be the big night. A Night Among the Stars will take place from 7-10 PM in the LCHS Gym. Tickets will be sold on Tuesday and Wednesday for $10, Thursday and Friday for $15, and at the door for $20 each. No guest forms will be accepted at the door.

With such a big week coming up it’s time to get excited for everything that’s coming and remember to thank your teachers for everything they’ve done to plan and coordinate this week.
