People of Lakes: Maddie Chorazy

The senior who believes that adult actions affect the next generation is the one, and only, Maddie Chorazy. The 17 year old senior who decided to have their heart set on being a scientist. With her school grades doing good, she believes she has a possibility to become an aspiring scientist.

Chorazy who was born on September 15th, 2004 attended a middle school named “Millburn” which is located in Lindenhurt, Illinois. Over the years, school gets more tiring, there is barely any time for relaxation. But when there is, Chorazy’s idea of relaxation is “being comfortable with something to do, like crochet, reading and so on.”

The senior has a younger brother who began their freshmen year, but with this, schoolwork naturally becomes more challenging when you grow older. When your family is “Loud, opinionated” says Chorazy, it’s hard to stay focus on schoolwork which causes her to be busy. Despite the fact that Chorazy is constantly occupied, she loves to “read, run, workout, and crochete” in her free time.

A 17 year old who views the world in a positive light because if she didn’t “it would just be sad.” Chorazy’s biggest pet peeve is when people tailgate others, not only does it up the chances of a car accident commencing… but it’s simply annoying. On the contrary of driving, one thing Chorazy would love to do but hasn’t is travel “across the country”, she says.
